PGA Jr. League brings young golfers together to learn, play, and grow as teammates. At Boone County Golf Courses, we make golf fun and welcoming for players of all skill levels, from kids picking up a club for the first time to experienced juniors ready for competition.
Led by Coach Adam Fangman and our coaching team, players build skills through practices and team matches while making friends and gaining confidence on the course. Our program offers opportunities for ages 4–17, including our 6U, 9U, and older junior divisions.

Adam, our Assistant Golf Professional, joined the Boone County Golf Courses at the start of 2018. Adam has worked within the golf industry for the last 8 years prior to joining the team. Adam became a US Kids Golf Certified Coach and Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach in 2019. He is now a Level 3, the highest current level of US Kids Certification.
Adam was selected as a US Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Coach for 2020 and 2021! In 2022, I was selected as a US Kids Golf Top 50 Master Kids Coach for 2022. There are only 220 Master Coaches in the World!
Coach Adam was awarded the 2025 PGA Jr League GameChanger Award. This was the SIXTH time ('19, '20, '21, '22, '24, '25) he has received the award. We had the 9th ranked PGA Jr League in the US and the largest program in the state of Kentucky!
